Linda Perla Consulting is a strategic firm specializing in supporting non-profit and civic-minded organizations by strengthening existing events, programs, and leadership structures. With decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, board development, and community engagement, founder Linda Spain brings a values-driven, collaborative approach to every project.

Known for delivering thoughtful, results-oriented support, the firm empowers clients to lead with clarity, purpose, and long-term vision.

Owner & Lead Fundraising Strategist

Linda Spain has always held a deep belief in the philosophy of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” whether in her private or professional life. She understands the importance of community, culture, and respect of the individual, which has been an important guiding principle in all she does. Linda’s diverse life experience provides a depth of knowledge and a unique perspective to how she approaches projects and communicates with people. Helping organizations envision collective impact to build effective partnerships for mission-driven change is important to her work. Linda’s non-profit expertise includes board leadership development, fundraising, event production, strategic planning, capacity-building, and community safety training and assessment. Linda has been the lead director of multiple, high-profile and large-scale fundraising events, and as the owner of Linda Perla Consulting, Linda brings extensive leadership and nonprofit expertise to her current role supporting the fundraising efforts work of FWRD7. Through her consulting work, she has provided strategic planning, facilitation, board training, and fundraising guidance to clients including Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, Thurston County (including the Federated Tribes of Chehalis Reservation), & Snohomish County; Black Law Enforcement Association of Washington; the Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA); and the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce. She is the retired Executive Director of the Seattle Neighborhood Group, where she focused on crime prevention and community building, specifically helping immigrant/refugee and underserved populations. Linda also previously led as Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Thurston County and the Olympia Symphony Orchestra. Her current service includes board membership at Treehouse, a statewide organization supporting youth impacted by foster care, and advisory roles with the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. She has also served on the boards of Seattle University’s Department of Criminology, the University of Washington Women’s Center, and the Junior League of Seattle. She is also a certified consultant for Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). A native Seattleite, she attended local schools, and the University of Washington, majoring in Society & Justice.
